Fusion Facades Delivers Precision-Engineered Brise Soleil System for Keyworth School
Fusion Facades is proud to announce our involvement in the Keyworth School redevelopment, where we are supplying over 40 bespoke Brise Soleil units. Designed to provide both functional solar shading and architectural impact, this project demonstrates how our in-house capabilities can deliver precision-engineered systems tailored to unique design requirements.
Precision Manufacturing – In-House from Start to Finish
Our team utilised state-of-the-art in-house laser cutting technology to produce the heavy gauge aluminium support arms, each projecting over 1000mm.
Powder Coating: Arms finished with a Qualicoat-approved RAL 7012 Matt coating for long-term durability and consistent colour tone.
Structural Integrity: All components designed in line with engineers’ calculations to ensure optimal performance in service.

Blade Design for Performance and Aesthetics
The Brise Soleil blades are extruded from 6063 T6 aluminium, measuring 100x25mm and up to 2000mm in length, securely fixed to each support arm.
Designed to deliver effective solar shading while complementing the overall architectural style.
Manufactured for precision fitment to the supporting arms and brackets.
Supporting Brackets Built for Strength
To complete the system, our fabrication team produced mild steel support brackets in-house.
Laser cut and welded for strength and accuracy.
Hot dip galvanised and powder coated for corrosion protection and extended lifespan.
In-House Assembly for a Seamless Installation
Following powder coating, each Brise Soleil unit was fully assembled in-house prior to delivery. This approach ensures:
